Peter joined Earthworks in Spring 2022 as the Foundation Relations Associate, collaborating with Earthworks’ field teams to document the impact of our work and raise financial support from foundations.
Peter has worked and volunteered for a number of local environmental nonprofits in North Carolina, including managing volunteers with the Yadkin Riverkeeper, teaching energy conservation to middle school students with Piedmont Environmental Alliance, and serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA with SHARE Cooperative of Winston Salem, which opened a cooperative grocery store in one of the city’s food deserts.
Raised in California, Peter now lives in Washington, DC and spends his spare time running the trails in Rock Creek Park, volunteering with the Washington Youth Garden, and catching shows at the 9:30 Club. He holds a BA in Anthropology from Wake Forest University.
