“When it comes to fracking, the President has a hard time facing facts.
President Obama promised we wouldn’t frack unless we did it safely. But, after a long investigation of the state of fracking science, the New York State Health Commissioner found it so unsafe he wouldn’t want his children to live, play or study near it.
President Obama promised to fight climate change. But when given an easy opportunity to reduce or even eliminate methane pollution from existing oil and gas production, he took a pass.
The fact is, oil and natural gas are the fuels of the past. The President should be leading America to a truly clean energy future based on solar, wind and conservation.
The fact is, President Obama must choose either protecting communities and the climate, or his “all of the above” fossil fuel-centered energy strategy. He cannot have both. ”
