Saad joined Earthworks in January 2024 as the Finance and Operations Associate. He previously worked in operations and finance management at a local non-profit and has served in various roles with mission-driven organizations. Saad received a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, focusing on Environmental and Water Resources. He worked as a teacher for several years and taught his students about environmental justice work and the adverse health effects of pollution from extractive industries. Outside work, he enjoys volunteering and visiting local parks with his family.
