Justin joined Earthworks in 2018 to lead an accountability effort to counter distortions and misdirection disseminated in the media by and on behalf of the oil and gas industry.
He began his career in electoral politics, and he has successfully managed races for candidates at a local, state, and federal level. He served as Chief of Staff to Pennsylvania State Representative Erin C. Molchany from 2012–2015, where he worked with advocates to advance statewide policy goals.
He has organized various issue campaigns with the Sierra Club and Clean Air Council. He is an Environmental Leadership Program Senior Fellow and is based in New York City.
