Ann Corbett

Ann has been with Earthworks since 2010. She oversees all aspects of fundraising and manages a team of five. She built the philanthropy infrastructure from the ground up, including creating the organization’s first major donor program. Under her leadership, revenue has quintupled through building a collaborative culture of philanthropy.

Prior to Earthworks, Ann worked in foundation relations at Women Thrive Worldwide, the Global Fund for Children, and Pathfinder International. She also held a variety of volunteer leadership positions at Amnesty International USA for a decade, including several years as Kenya Country Specialist. She earned a master’s degree in African history from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and graduated summa cum laude from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts.

Ann lives car-free on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, where she enjoys taking long walks around the city, biking, and vegetarian cooking. She looks forward to post-pandemic international travel.
