Andrew Forkes-Gudmundson joined Earthworks in June 2022 as the Senior Manager for State Legislative and Regulatory Affairs, working to advance state policies that put people and the environment before polluters.
Prior to joining Earthworks, Andrew was the Deputy Director of the League of Oil and Gas Impacted Coloradans (LOGIC), where he worked to bring directly to decision makers the voices of community members impacted by the oil and gas industry. As an advocate, Andrew is dedicated to ensuring that the impacted community has a meaningful voice at every level of policymaking and that the policies we advocate for protect the most marginalized communities.
Andrew was a longtime resident of Colorado and new resident of California, and is an avid outdoorsman and rock climber. Andrew has a law degree from the University of Wyoming, and a bachelor’s degree from Saint John’s University in Minnesota.
