Claire Hermann (she/her) joined Earthworks in July 2024 as Mining Communications Manager.
Claire has led communications for organizations addressing farming and food justice, HIV/AIDS advocacy, children’s issues, and environmental justice on the state and national levels. She is committed to elevating community voices to build power and drive change. She holds an MA in public relations focusing on nonprofit communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Claire writes when she’s not at work, enjoys her local farmers markets, and hikes the woods near her home in central North Carolina.
