Costco hasn’t signed the Golden Rules.
Why isn’t Costco supporting clean gold?
We don’t know. We assume it isn’t because they don’t care about working conditions in the mines or cyanide spills poisoning communities’ drinking water. Over 90 leading jewelry retailers have left Costco behind by signing the Golden Rules for responsible metals sourcing. These industry leaders have pledged to shun gold from irresponsible mining and seek cleaner sources of gold and precious metals.
But, with your help, we can get Costco to stop lagging behind the leaders of responsible gold sourcing.
